Hi beautiful people.
Welcome to Yintrospection.
Today I'm leading you through a very short meditation, so if you've never practiced meditation before, it will be perfect for you.
So take a seat wherever you are, sit up straight without straining, and breathe in through your nose deeply and out through your mouth three times.
You're going to breathe in your own time throughout this quick meditation and when you reach the third breath, breathing out through your mouth, I want you to simply breathe in and out through your nose, and I want it to be a breath without strain.
I don't want you to be trying to take deeper breaths, or shallower breaths, or control the speed.
Now I want you to notice your breath Is your breath higher in your chest? Do you feel like you're filling your shoulders more than your abdomen? Is it in the middle and your ribs are expanding, but still slightly shallow? Is your stomach moving when you breathe? And now I want you to count five full breaths letting each in breath reach low into your abdomen, connecting with your center.
Now bring your awareness back into the world and notice that your breath just loosened up your body.
it just relaxed your mind.
What this is called is grounding- you just got grounded.
You can go into a meditation like this at any time it will help you to settle your mind and be a bit calmer.
When we live a busy life and we're constantly on our phones, on our computers, watching TV, our mind is always racing.
It's not settled.
We want to learn how to settle it and train it to become settled quickly.
We'll do a lot more meditation practices in the future.
I just wanted to do a quick intro video for you.
Thank you so much for watching this video today, please share if you think someone would benefit from it or from my channel, and don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss any of my videos.
