A Powerful Sleep Meditation

Is Insomnia A Problem For You?

If you have trouble going to sleep --- you're not alone. Apparently 1:8 people in America suffer from insomnia. That's something like 32 Million people.

Having problems with insomnia is a living nightmare.

And ... if you suffer from this ... I understand.

I've experienced my fair share of insomnia - and its exhausting, makes you cranky, angry, restless, can't work properly, can't be in relationship with people in a harmonious way ... and the list goes on.

The crazy thing was that I would forget that I had a solution. But not any more ... listening to it at night after getting into bed ... sends me into a deep rejuvenating slumber ... AND ... you can tell the difference in the morning.

You've gotta try this out.

After experimenting with this recording ... you don't even have to be able to meditate - just turn it on - follow the instructions if you want to --- or just let the recording play out and if you're still awake - play it again. I've never had to play it more than twice.

I slept soooo well after my first 'night' with Julie, my mp3 player and the Insomnia Obliterator healing meditation! It's deceptively simple--and perhaps that's part of why it's so effective. And I've found that even when I've mentally played it, it worked too. It's now on top of my 'insomnia preventers' library!

Insomnia Obliterator

The secret to this meditation is to be disciplined in relation to staying 100% focused on the process. If your mind wanders from these specific instructions – you must return to the beginning and start again.

  • Lie in bed in a comfortable position (whether it be on your back, your side or your front).

  • Take a deep breath in through the base chakra breathing all the way up through the chakras to the top of your shoulders. Hold the breath for the count of 5 and then gently release it - letting go of all negativity and thoughts of the day - repeat this 3 times.

  • Breathing normally now, imagine that you are inside a movie theatre and you are sitting in the back row. As you look all the way down the theatre, over the rows, at the white screen, the screen changes colour. It is now:

    RED

  • As you watch the screen, it becomes three-dimensional and turns into a red mist that is slowly moving towards you, filling the entire theatre as it drifts all the way up to the back row.

  • Breathe that red mist all the way into your being. As you breathe out, the red mist dissolves before your eyes. When you look back down the theatre at the screen, it turns

      ORANGE

  • As you watch the screen, it becomes three-dimensional and turns into an orange mist that is slowly moving towards you, filling the entire theatre as it drifts all the way up to the back row.

  • Breathe that orange mist all the way into your being. As you breathe out, the orange mist dissolves before your eyes and as you look back down the theatre at the screen, it turns YELLOW etc (follow the procedure above).

    Continue this process for:

          GREEN
            BLUE
              PURPLE
                VIOLET

    Once again, the secret to this meditation helping you overcome insomnia is to be disciplined and HONEST with yourself. If your mind strays (even seconds) away from focusing on the process described above, you must start at the beginning again (ie., red).

    The discipline of this meditation safely calms your mind, allowing you to drop into deep slumber before you reach VIOLET.


    An Alternative - Insomnia Meditation

    If you cannot imagine the screen red – visualize a RED APPLE floating on the screen.

    Then, visualize yourself rising out of the back row and floating down to the stage. When you arrive on the stage, the apple has become 3-dimensional, and you can step into the vision and reach out for the apple and take a huge bite. After you take the first bite – the apple dissolves in your hand and you are instantly back in your seat in the back row of the theatre.

    Look back down the theatre and imagine an ORANGE floating on the screen.

    Then, visualize yourself rising out of the back row and floating down to the stage. When you arrive on the stage, the orange has become 3-dimensional, and you can step into the vision and reach out for the orange, peel it and take a huge bite. After you take the first bite – the orange dissolves in your hand and you are instantly back in your seat in the back row of the theatre.

    Continue with this process using the following visualisations:

  • a field of YELLOW SUNFLOWERS – and as you step into the field of sunflowers and touch the petals of the largest flower, the sunflowers disappear and you are instantly back in your seat in the back row;
  • a field of lush GREEN SUGAR CANE;
  • a cool BLUE SWIMMING POOL;
  • a field of PURPLE LAVENDER;
  • a magnificent VIOLET ORCHID.
  • If you have been disciplined and honest with yourself during this meditation, you will be "in the land of nod" before reaching the violet orchid.

    In the event that you have been 100% disciplined and honest with yourself during this meditation and you reach violet before you drift into dreamland ... start at the beginning again.
