The "Juleya Rose" Meditation Art StoryFor 3 years I experimented with collage by making gifts for friends. I combined photos of people with nature images in unusual ways.In 2001, I dreamt that I had created a large collage that would be used as a meditation tool and generate healing qualities in the one who meditated on it. In this dream, I was given specific instructions as to the materials I needed, how to create the piece and how it would look. I immediately set about finding and buying all the materials that I needed to create the first "Juleya Rose" collage. Amazingly, I was able to recreate the artwork from my dream. When I had finished it, I thought it was so beautiful that I wouldn't be able to create another one in a similar style. Thankfully, this wasn't the case and you now have many beautiful healing collages to choose from. I used paper to create the art. Pictures were ripped by hand into different shapes and joined together like a jigsaw puzzle to create a story that I like to think of as being about the journey "Home". As we live our lives we take many different paths. Some are easeful and others are challenging. Together the different journeys we have taken along these paths = our life.
