Easy Chakra Meditation

I'm really excited about sharing this chakra meditation with you. It is the first healing meditation I do if I am feeling "out of sorts".

Do you sometimes think to yourself "Something isn't quite right, but I don't know what it is?" I do, often!!

Please try this chakra meditation - it is worth the 5 minutes it will take you to do it.

This is what I do and invite you to do, too - AND YOU MUST REMEMBER THE CHAKRA CHART FOR THIS TO WORK.

  1. sit comfortably and take a deep breath in, hold it then breathe all the way out releasing all tension and negativity as all the air leaves your lungs. (Do this 3 times.);

  2. breathing normally now, imagine an image of your body;

  3. spontaneously visualize all the centres appearing somewhere on this image of your body;

  4. creatively visualize each centre (red through violet):-
  • spinning in alignment - if it is not in alignment, creatively move it into alignment;
  • the chakra spins at a medium speed – if it is too fast creatively slow it down, if it is too slow creatively speed it up (experiment with this - and work out what medium speed is for you - you will know intuitively what is right);
  • the texture of the colour needs to be clear. If it appears milky – creatively make it clear;
  • the correct size and shape of the chakra is approx. 30cm (12”) deep x 30cm (12”) wide at the top x 5cm (2”) wide at the entry point on the body. If it does not appear like this eg., smaller, larger, wider – I creatively make it the correct size.
Do a quick mental check that you have remembered all the colours in the chakra chart. When you are completely satisfied that your chakras are balanced, acknowledge with gratitude the gift of this creative vision, take a deep breath in, hold it, and slowly release your breath and open your eyes when you are ready.

***CONGRATULATIONS*** - you have now learned how to balance your chakras in a simple, quick way using the chakra chart.

If you do not feel that you have been successful in doing this chakra meditation, review my creative visualisation page, keep practicising and BELIEVE what you see and/or feel.

Keep reviewing the chakra chart until you can close your eyes and visualise and/or feel all the chakra colours in the correct order starting with the base chakra RED right through to VIOLET.

You can do this visualisation anywhere. It takes a 3-5 minutes. Here are some of the places you can do a chakra meditation:-

  • on the bus, train or ferry;
  • in the bathroom (this is an especially good place when you are at work, and need a few minutes to re-energise);
  • in bed before going to sleep, or first thing in the morning before starting your day
And, I am sure you could think of 101 other places that would be just as great!!!
